Roamy Games is one person making games. This site doesn't collect your personal data, sell it, or do anything sneaky with it. Here's the short version, because that's all there is.
What we collect
Nothing, really. This site doesn't have accounts, doesn't track you across the web, and doesn't sell or share data with anyone.
If we add basic, privacy-friendly analytics (just to see roughly how many people visit and which pages are popular), it won't collect anything that identifies you personally.
Cookies
We don't use cookies to track you or serve you ads.
Links to other places
The site links out to places like Discord, X, Ko-fi, Patreon, and game storefronts (Steam, the App Store, Google Play). Once you click through, you're on their turf and their privacy policy applies, not ours. Worth a read if you're curious what they do with your data.
Contact form / email
If you get in touch by email or a contact form, we'll only use what you send to reply to you. We won't add you to a mailing list or pass it on to anyone else.
Newsletter (if you sign up)
If we launch a newsletter and you subscribe, we'll use your email to send you updates about Roamy Games and nothing else. You can unsubscribe any time, no hard feelings.
Games
NordsGuesser and any future browser games don't collect personal data either. If a game ever needs an account or online save data down the line, this policy will be updated to say so clearly.
Starling Ascent
Starling Ascent doesn't have ads, in-app purchases, or any analytics or crash-reporting SDK. We don't collect or see any data from your play sessions.
On Android, the game uses Google Play Games for cloud saves. If you sign in with Google Play Games, your save data is stored and handled by Google, not by us, so it's covered by Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Games Terms of Service. Signing in is optional; if you skip it, the game just saves locally on your device.
On iOS, the game uses Game Center for cloud saves, the same setup but run by Apple instead of Google. If you sign in with Game Center, your save data is stored and handled by Apple, covered by Apple's Privacy Policy and Game Center's terms. Signing in is optional here too; skip it and the game saves locally on your device.
Changes
If anything here changes, we'll update this page. Simple as that.
