I spent years as a UX designer, shaping other people's products and watching the best ideas die in slide decks. At some point I got tired of pitching and started shipping.
Roamy Games is a one-person studio. No team, no roadmap meetings, no investors to keep happy. Just me, a long list of things I want to make, and enough design instinct to make them feel good to hold.
I work in the open, ship small, and listen hard. If a thing is fun for ten seconds, I keep going. If it isn't, I cut it.
Design-first
Years of UX means the feel comes first. If it's awkward to hold, nothing else matters.
Ship small
Small games, finished, beat big games that never ship. I'd rather release than perfect.
In the open
Build logs, rough edges, and honest mistakes. The Discord sees things before anyone else.
